What we expected: Memorial Day Weekend 3-day trip to see Neuschwanstein Castle
What actually happened: Memorial Day Weekend 1-day trip to Basel, Switzerland

What we expected: a relatively cheap lunch at a restaurant
What actually happened: an insanely expensive lunch at a small grocery store/bakery

What we expected: to see Roman ruins
What actually happened: saw Roman ruins : )

What we expected: to see Basel
What actually happened: we really liked Basel

What we expected: Germany to annihilate Switzerland in a friendly
What actually happened: Switzerland beat Germany in a high scoring friendly

Nathan and I kept recasting our match predictions. I had originally guessed 2-1 Germany, and Nathan had originally guessed 2-0 Germany.
