Blessings of Day 121
~having 4 months of good lines of communication with Nathan
~lunch with Stephanie
~watching the sun set as I drove home this evening
~reading the V-Day card Nathan sent me, really feeling loved through his words

Today is the perfect example of why I take time to post this every day and how it truly has an impact on me/my attitude. Two sucky things happened today. 1. Nathan’s living arrangements changed, leaving him with crappy Internet/making it hard for us to talk. 2. After already working late, it took me 45 min to get home when it normally takes 25 min because they had shut off so many roads/gates on base. In addition to that, Nathan's card took 3 weeks!!! to get here. An insanely long time and obviously not even close to V-Day. All I'm saying is there is SO much that I could have pointed to as justification in calling today terrible. But it wasn't. And I didn't. Thank the LORD for perspective!

~working in the backyard in the quiet & sunshine
~jumping Nathan's car by myself! (We won't talk about how many times that thing has needed to be jumped, much less today alone.)
~spending the evening with some fun people to celebrate two little ones' birthdays

~Before Nathan left, I said there was one thing I had no intention of taking on. I was happy to pay someone else to do it. Well, today I decided I was perfectly capable, so Nathan walked me through it over FaceTime this morning and then I CUT THE YARD! Spending all afternoon and evening mowing, edging, weeding, and watering was actually really relaxing😊
