We made plans to go down to Sacramento last Saturday, and ended up being there for Gold Rush Days. They had the Old Town outfitted like it was in the days of gold mining, with horse-drawn carriages, dirt roads and hay bales. People were dressed up too.
We watched a shootout in the street.
Afterwards, we grabbed drinks at Starbucks and Nathan bought a new pair of running shoes.
We drove by the Capitol on our way to buy a few more plants for the house, then it was on to hibachi for dinner and stops at Target and Barnes & Noble.
We had a great day in Sacramento!
