From Me to You, With Love

Since the Christmas present Nathan bought for me didn't arrive until the 27th, we exchanged gifts a little late. He got me a thermal shirt from J.Crew.

Because I wanted Nathan to pick out the style of his present, I gave him a card with a puzzle inside. He had one hint: There are 3 words. I didn't realize the letters spelled so many wrong words! For a little bit, Nathan was so sure that one of the words was goal, haha : )

After spelling out goat, book, and ball, I helped him a tad and told him which vowels went in each word. It didn't take him long to figure out the rest.

And once he did, we went online and he picked out this one from Nordstrom's.
(It's also going to be his birthday present.)
I almost forgot! Which is fitting, really. You'll see why... I also got Nathan a book called Systematic Theology. I bought it for him back in August when I was at my parents' house. I had hid it in the bottom of one of my wardrobes and totally forgotten about it until I found it Monday, when Nathan and I were cleaning out our closet room. Just in time : ) The book is HUGE, so Nathan and I figured we will pull it out every now and then and read a page or two from it.
